I-485 Finally Approved (really old case)

Hi All,

I must be the oldest I-485 case on these boards....Stopped following the boards a few months ago on accounting of being frustrated.

Well, I finally did get approved and my passport stamped. So there is hope....no matter how long it takes.

My unlucky cases statistics:

P.D: Dec 1997
EB3
I-485 : RD/ND: Both April 2001
Finger Print: Aug 2001
no RFE
Assigned to officer: Dec 2001

Finally approved: Aug 2002.

And hope to see some of the old folks may be on the waiting for the plastic thread(s).

congrats - this gives me some comfort because i am a RD - march 2001 and ND - April 2001 - old case as well

Do you know what is the reason for this delay. Did you do Fax Inquiries while you were waiting for the approval?
