I-485 filling and I-140 Approval Notice

Do we need to attach origional I-140 approval notice while filling for I-485 or Zerox copy of I-140 approval notice is OK ?

I am told that you only get one I-140 origional approval notice, if that\'s case and I-485 application is lost for some reason , what are the option then.

Don\'t send originals of any supporting documents to INS. Plus...

When I order my forms by mail from INS, there was a little note in package asking us to state and sign the following in our application package:

"Copies of documents submitted are exact photocopies of unaltered original documents and I understand that I may be required to submit original documents to an Immigration or Consular official at a later date."

Either you or your lawyer has to sign and attach the above note to your package.
 
Read I-140 approval notice

It says: "A copy of this notice must be submitted with......."

Could you guys please reply to this ? those who have already filled I-485 will know this what is exactly required.

ALOS how many copies of I-140 approval noitces are recieved by the attorney from INS ?
 
i filed with a copy of 140 and later on called the IIO to confirm that indeed this was OK

btw, i filed my 485 myself.
