I-485 filing

I'm not sure about something...I filed my I-485 at the Louisville, KY office; I moved to Virginia so in january 2002 I transferred the case to the Arlington, VA office.
Is the Arlington office responsible to approve my case, or is it the Vermont Center???
anybody who applied in Arlington,VA just to have an idea of the time frame ( my interview was dec 4 2002 ).

VSC has nothing to do with your application..
In fact your interview has already been done at Arlington, VA.

I read your other thread too. If the GC is so important to you, then why dont you take a leave for half day and stand in the line and ask them for the status and see if they will stamp your passport.. Lot of people do that and wait there in line...

I know, bot I talked to an officer already and he said there is no guarantee to be able to speak to a supervisor; he actually told me "you might waste your time.."
 
if you spoke to an officer on the 800 number, thats of no help.
Your best bet is go there and try and see if it helps any way...

actually I talked to an officer at the arlington office when I went for my empl. auth. renewal; I know that officers at the customer service center are not always very much informed on what's going on. I'm still trying to find people who filed in arlington. Anybody?

I filed May 2003, nothing received yet.

When did you get any letter from them after 01/2002?

about aug/sep I received a letter scheduling me the dec. 2002 interview.
Then june 2003 I received confirm. of renewal for employ. authoriz. then nothing more!
