I-485 Filing Question

I am a pharmcist with Eckerd pharmacy and my priority date is Dec 2006 and my I140 was approved in March 2007. But now Eckerd has been bought by Rite Aid and they have filed for H1B. As the dates are cureent can I still go ahead and file the I485. If so what should be my approach.

Anil,
Mergers and Acquisitions are quite common in today's corporate world. RiteAid should be able to just transfer all the legal paperwork for you. Your old LC, 140 will still suffice, as long as RiteAid provides supportive documentation annotating the Acquisition, and the date it would be effective.
