I-485 filing Q: No I-94 after entry from Canada ??

I had entered the USA from SFO airport, got
a white I-94 card from there. Then a year later I got a H1-H1 transfer approved and
got a I-797 form with an updated extended
I-94.

Then I visited Canada, on the way back the
US immigration officer said that my I-797
notice\'s I-94 is superceeding the white
I-94 and she removed it and let me in, saying that the H1 notice\'s I-94 is my I-94.

Now after that when I applied for I-485, I listed the latest port of entry as Buffalo,NY from Canada, but I still attached a copy
of the I-94 I had got from SFO airport, with a note that I had entered the country later
from Canada on land.

My Question is: will this cause problems in
the I-485 processing ?

i read some message that the officers r aware of this situation that the border post by canada does not issue I-94 when u cross by road

search in this website for the word canada

I remember reading this message earlier
