Hi,
I have filed my 485 in dec 2002 and got my ead. Due to the economy I got laid off and got hold of a new H1 from a small employer who does H1 based on % basis. I myself found a contract and much of the money cut is going to the employer. My H1 with this guy expires by Dec this year(6th year). I would like to know can I use my EAD now, if any query comes I know I should be an employee. I'm looking for a steady employment meanwhile I would like to have the gurus opinion, whether to continue on H1 and give big junks or use my EAD and contract directly to the client.
Also based on my filing when you guys think it would start processing and getting queries if any.
