I have no idea what is going on with my case anymore.
PD- 4/2002
I-140 - approved 6/2005
I-485 - filed 8/2005 at Vermont Service Center and was transferred to Texas on 3/2007
Country - rest of world
Me and my family had 3 fingerprints already (last one on 2/2009)
I had 3 letters to the ombudsman, 3 letters to congressman, many Infopasses yet case is still pending.
Every time the answer letter is due, visa numbers become unavailable and they apologize and promise to process my case as soon as visa numbers will become available.
What is the order in which they work on cases, i have friends which their priority date is 2005 and their I-485 was files on 2008 and they received their green card.
Any advice would be appreciated.
