That is the amount charged by most places that take decent pictures. Don\'t spend too much time shopping around. If you can\'t find a place who know how to take immigration pictures, don\'t waste your time explaining them how to take it. Sure they will try to follow instructions but, you will be a guinea pig for their learning experiments. If INS is not happy with the pictures, they will send it back and you will waste more time running around for another set of pictures. That means more money for pictures + your time + frustration + FedEx charges + more delay in your application processing. Do you think it\'s all worth saving a dollar or two on a set of pictures ? If you find a cheaper place who "KNOW" how to take immigration pictures, you are lucky. Go for it.
