My I-485 was denied and I have exhausted all my 6 years of H1b. (For those who want to know the story, use search by username and put longGC)

It is now time to pack up. What are my options?

1. To stay outside the country for a year then come back on freash H1. Can I do that?

2. What are other options?

Please suggest.

Very sorry to hear it, longGC. I will check your posted story.
You can definitely stay outside US for 1 year and re-start the 6 year clock. I am not sure, but if you re-apply for 485, you might buy some time.
Depending on your situation and background you can try for permanent residence in Canada or even UK. Recently UK came out with a Skilled Migrant Worker program, modeled similar to Canada's independent immigrant program.

can you post details ( or link ) for immigration program in UK as I am willing to relocate there if I do not get my GC in time
