I-485 Denied, Alien # is still Valid ?

Hi All,

My I -485 denied in December 2004, and I-140 is referred to AAO Office,
Is that assigned A # ( Alien registration no ) is still valid ???


When I apply for my H1B extension, do I need to mention ? ( there is a A # field ). ?

I appreciate your input...
