I-485 Current Status...Please reply

I have completed my I-485 interview in July 2005 and due to visa unavilability , did not get GC stamp and my status online for I-485 was NONE

Current Status:

Last month , I checked status online and it is as follow:

Current Status: This case has been sent for a standard interview.

My question is should I call USCIS and inform them so that they can correct the Current staus.

Please reply.
 
You should do nothing...IMHO!

Depending on your PD and current status of it as per the latest VB, I think you should do nothing regarding this status update. Only the higher power knows what status message USCIS will put up, on what day and what it really means.

Unless you are current, and haven't heard from them in about 60 days, I'd suggest you stay put and not waste your time by calling USCIS customer service.

You are not alone who has been interviewed but no GC issued because of visa unavailability. I know three people including myself who have been waiting for over 2 years. Only an asteroid from the sky could bring the Visa Bulletin Chief's senses back to reality...only that the asteroids have a wait time too and the big one's date is not Current :D
