I have applied for I140 (2 months ago) from VSC and I currently live in MD. Given current economic conditions and nature of consulting job, it is necessary to relocate to a place outside of VSC. Hence can I file for my I485 with my friend's address in a state(Delaware) which also falls under VSC. If this is possible, do I need to maintain resident status/ file Taxes from that state(DE)?
