There was all this talk that people who have applied for Green Cards as religious workers have sued the BCIS and their status would be adjusted on or before 9/31/2003.

Any news on that front ? Any approvals in that category ?

Just curious !!

I think that's why everybody else's case were put on hold - USCIS had to shift lots of resourse from other categary into this one to speed up their processing time. I also heard that they will extend the expiration date of 9/30/03. I didn't like that news/rumor at all.

Can you point me to the link where you found out that they are going to extend the Special Immigrant Option

Thanks..,

Sound's like Employment Based people can sue the INS.

Any Info on how to sue and on what basis Employment Based People can sue.

Can we choose Mr Rajiv as our attorney.

I would contribute toward's the attorney fees in case it is going to help us.

Agreee....!!!!

But first we must choose an attorney with a name brand like Johny Cochran or F. Lee Bailey. I think Margareth Wong or Mike Hammond might make a good choice in our case.

EB case

I certainly support RAGHUC's opinion in this case to not degrade ourselves. Remember, in the United States legal system "Justice is Blind" ; it all depends on how good your attorney argues in court.

Have you all forgotten how OJ Simpson got away with murder ??

Hiring Rajiv

Hey Guys & Gals,

I think the idea of suing USCIS for I-485 sounds reasonable; however, I am highly doubtful that it would influence the adjudicators in anyway. Unless we can make a class action lawsuit out of this, I think our chance of success is slim.

If the lawsuit by us can not influence adjudicators in anyway, how could the the lawsuit by the religious workers and asylees do that ?

It's good that few of us contemplating for class action law suit against USCIS.

We had this discussion just few weeks at VSC forum.
