Today I received mail from USCIS that my case is transfered to local office in newyork NY.My question is,
Is this the routine process or something serious?????

EB-3(concurrant)
RD-June 10th,2003
ND-June 20th,2003
I-140 Approved on August,2004
FP1 done on April 16th,2004
I-485 RFE received on August,2004(Medical,2months paystubs and W-2/1099)
RFE replied October,2004
Case transfered to local newyork office on November 5th,2004

1- Is this the bad news or routine process?
2- How long does it take to receive the interview call??

Not a great news

Hey gogi274

Transfer is not really a great news as it involves a lot of waiting when it comes to NY local office.
FYI mine RD 01/10/03 transferred on 07/19/04 to local NY and waiting forever. I found out it takes quite some time like 6-9 months for an interview to be scheduled. I hope it is not true. I wish it happens sooner than that.

All the best to you

Hi Guys,

Sorry to hear this transfer news. I wish you all speedy approval. I am wondering what really is the reason for INS to transfer the cases to the local office??

Appreciate for your feedback
