I-485 case status. What does it mean?

Hi all,

My I-485 ND 19th Nov'02. Just last week, its current status changed to the following.

"On February 5, 2003, the results of your fingerprint review for your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status were received, and processing has resumed on your case. We will mail you a notice if further action is needed, or when a decision is made."

What does it mean? Is my GC closer now?

Hi,

I received the same status on my 485. It was posted on the USCIS website 2 months after I went for my fingerprinting for the 485.

I think all it means is that the fingerprinting was done and they received the results...
 
My situation is the same as NS77. I don't think you are any closer than any of us. My 485 ND is 12/5/02.
 
I have the same message since August 2002. My FP1 was done in July 2002.

485 ND : May 2002
 
Sorry everyone. I am checking the replies now. My FP was done in Feb'03 and my case is in VSC. My colleague whose I-485 ND was just one month earlier than mine received 485 approval last month.
