I-485 - Can someone who has interview recently tell me their Receipt Date

I am trying to find out the receipt date of any recent I-485 interview so that I can anticipate my wife's interview date. Case is Family Based for US Citizen spouse.

Also, my wife has been out of status since 1997. I am told by the INS 800 help line that she does not need to file for I-485A while my attorney says she does??? Any clues??
 
Since your wife is an immediate relative (Spouse/ Parents/ Unmarried Children under 21 yrs) of a US Citizen, she needs only file I-485 for AOS irrepective of the fact that she is out of status at the time of application.
