Hi Guys,
I am one of those who are stuck with background check. After repeated requests I haven't heard anything from FBI yet. I am very much exuasted now.
I am having a very stable(atleast for a year) job in CT. My wife is doing residency in PA. I am commuting for the past one and half years and am really tired. I have a very good oppurtunity in one of the top firm.
I am unable to decide whether I should accept that position becuase
1: My I-140 is approved under EB2 category although I may not qualify for that. (I have not completed my masters degree).
2:In labour petition they mentioned about my MS & BE degrees and I know for sure that was applied in RIR and in EB3 category.
3: My lawyer says that they made a mistake while filling the I-140 and checking the wrong box.(I don't how much I should trust him).
4: AC21, I don't know of any potential problems.
Here is the question:
1: Should I be concerend about the above reasons?
2: Is it wise to stay where I am, till I get approved?
Please gurus, post your thoughts.
Thanks,
glb.
