My I-485 is Approved. I got the Approval Notice (Courtesey Copy) in Mail yesterday (04/16/2001).
AVM is not yet updated.

Category: EB2
485 ND: Nov 01, 2000. EB2
FP Date: Mar 22, 2001
FP Done on Feb 21, 2001 (FP Completed one month earlier in SJ)
INS received FP on 03/10/2001 according to an INS Officer.
Case Assigned to Officer on 03/29/01.
485 Approved on April 11, 2001
Courtesy Copy of 485 Approval Notice received on April 16, 2001.

I have one question regarding the Passport Stamping. My Attorney mentioned that I can go the San Jose INS Office with my Courtesy Copy for the Stamping. What is the best time to go to the INS Office. Is anyone planning to go the INS Office tomorrow (04/18/2001). My Attorney mentioned that there is somekind of DEADLINE and people are rushing for it. She told me to go around 3:00 AM. She also mentioned that only 400 applications will be accepted per day. Please throw some light on what time to go.
Also, please confirm if I need to carry anything else than the following.
Courtesey Copy of I-485 Approval
Passport.
I-94
2 Passport Size Photos
Drivers Licence
EAD and AP (If available)
