Hi Folks,

According to AVM our I-485 application was approved on Jan 29, 2001. I\'ve not yet received the approval notice.

My Details:

Priority Date - Dec, 1996
Labor approved - Sept, 1997
I-140 approved - Dec, 1997
Dec,97-Aug,99 - Waiting for PD to become current
I-485 Receipt Date - Aug 12, 1999
I-485 Notice Date - Oct 15, 1999
Finger Print - Dec 01, 1999
Conversations with IIOs
          Aug 2000 - No useful Info
         Sept 2000 - File is with an officer for review
          Jan 2001 - File is with an officer for review
Approval Date - Jan 29, 2001

My case is almost similar to yours.
Details are:

Long wait for 485 filing (from July 1997 to Aug. 1999)
FL: Oct 1999
FL Approved: Nov 1999?

I was told last week that my case is with an officer.
Can you please tell me how long it took for you get the approval
after it went to the officer.

No Title

When I called in sept,\'00, they told me my file is with an officer. In jan \'01 again I called and was told the same. For me it took 4 months to get the approval after assigning to an officer. I think that is because of holiday season. I guess, You can expect in 1-2 months.
