I-485 approved

I checked the message and found that my I-485 was approved on 8/4. I have 2 questions :
(a) How long does it take to get approval letter ? Do I get it or my lawyer ?
(b) My company wants to employ me full time and is ready to talk to my consulting company. If my consulting company agrees, does it have any implication from the viewpoint of my "intention to work" for my consulting company after GC.
I would appreciate any feedback.

It usually takes about a week or two to receive the approval notice(s). Your lawyer will receive original and you get courtesy copy. According to many posts of this board, courtesy copies were accepted when doing PP stamp.

It will certainly make a difference, if some one wants to persue it. Make sure the talks do not happen before few months have passed. A paper trail about changing jobs/intent to change jobs before the green card can be very damaging evidence.
