My I 485 approved and my wife\'s I 485 is pending. Talked to immigration officer and she said that my wife will get status change very soon also.
Here is detail of our case
EB3 India Filed 2/96
I 140 approved in 1/98
Waited for 14 months to date to become current.
I 485 RD 3/5/99 ND 3/22/99
EAD renewed once.

H1 since June 93. Changed job in August 95. Waited to file GC till Feb 96. (BIG MISTAKE). If We have filed in August 95, We would have got GC 2 1/2 earlier. Oh well.
It has been 10 years in US. Wait is over.
Thanks to Rajiv (our lawyer) and this chat group. I have been silent follower since last 3 years.

My PD is 2-13-96, EB3, India
I could not apply my 485 until April, 99. How could you apply in March?

Congratulations. I know how you feel. I have been here longer than that and I have been working since 92 still waiting....

I do not remember the exact date. We filed in the first week of Feb. We sent our application by Fed Ex on January 31st.

My Eac # is eac-99-124-xxxxx and my rd/nd is mar 9/mar22 1999.
My PD: 08/25/97; FP: 02/18/2000.

You\'re right. I\'m on H1 since 94 Feb. Changed job in Jun 96. Waited till Jan 97 to file GC.
Just letting someone who is frusturated that there are a lot of us who made that same mistake before the Immig. bill in \'96...
