Hi guys,

It is my day today. All my family members: I, my wife, son, and daughter got approved today.

Summary:

I-140, I-485 Concurrent filing: 1/2003
I-140 approved: 3/2004
FP1 3/2003
FP2 8/2004
RFE 11/2004
The third EAD and TD applications are pending

RFE required:
Previous company's statement(position description, 140 sponsorship)
Current company's statement(job description, corporate financial condition)
Three months payroll statement.
F1 Forms for other family members.

I have gained a lot from this forum for last four years and I sincerely hope all of you have a wonderful and happy result after your long journey to the green card.

I still want to recommend to those who are looking for a good attorney that Mr. Dan Joyce in Buffalo, New York is an excellent immigration lawyer to work with. He was hired by my previous company but his honesty and dedication never changed whatever happened. I am grateful to his selfless help and excellent professional skills. His email address: djoyce@jaeckle.com

Have a great day!

Did you use AC21

Hi lj56,

Congratulations !!!

From your details, it looks like you had two employers.

Did you change your job and /or employers before getting 485. Did your Lawyer stay with you even after changing employer ?

Please highlight

Thanks

SunderGC..do you think you get REF because you changed employer /AC 21 issue? In my case, I got RFE for EVL W2 and paystubs, reply received by USCIS 2/4/05. I changed employer last year didn't file AC21, then I filed change of atternoy (to my new company lawyer)..now I am waiting for final approval hopefully. Thougth your case may be similar and you are before me, hope you get approved soon!

- Yes, I had two employers. I changed my job after 140 and before 485.
- As a matter of fact, the lawyer was and still is the former company's attorney, but he stays with me till now. Money was not a issue since both my companies promised sponsorship for my greencard.
- I strongly suggest you stay with the same lawyer as he/she knows your case better than any others, even you have to pay by yourself if you change jobs.

- Yes I believe my job change triggered RFE.
- I did not file AC21. My lawyer said it was not a necessary process and it proved he was right.
- I stayed with Vermont Service Center all the time even I moved into Nebraska Service Center area.

Wish you the best for your process.

Ij56, thanks a lot! One more question, do you know when USCIS received your reply? Your RFE is Nov04, it took 3 months after REF? Thanks again and enjoy your freedom!

We did not send in response to RFE until 2/10/2005 (the deadline was 2/12/2005). I received emailed receipt notification on 2/12/2005. I got approval notice one week later: 2/17/2005.

- I swear to you that Mr. Dan Joyce is the most honest, trustable, and professional immigration attorney I have ever seen!
- Sorry I don't know how much he charges for GC. All my fees were paid by my employers. For your reference: I happened to know that USD3,000 for four people's EAD and Travel Documents. I am sure he is not a cheap one but it worth: I got my GC in 3.5 years starting from LC. In New York State!
