I-485 approved, will retrogression affect issuing green card?

In response to my I-485 application, BCIS issued a I-797 letter containing the word of “Approval Notice” and required me to provide biometrics at a local ASC. I take it as an I-485 approval.

I am in EB-2 and my priority date on I-797 letter is May, 2004, Will I be affected by the retrogression so that I may have to wait for the actual green card?
