I have just the sweetest message on AVM at CSC, that says "Your case was approved on August 27th, and the approval notice will be mailed......" When I checked the cases status for my wife and two daughters, they were also approved on the same day. It sure has been a long journey (exactly 14 months from ND).


RD: 4/19/01
ND: 6/27/01
EAD: 9/19/01
FP : 11/30/01
FP : 4/30/0
RFE: 6/27/02
Approved: 8/27/02

My wait was too long that I almost gave up my hopes though I did not want to. So, for those who are still waiting, please do not give up. "If you wait, it would come....."

Thanks, everyone! However, after posting my message, I requested my immigration attorney to double check it with CSC, they could not verify it due to the system-down situation. Also, another immigration attorney said the information on some AVM's are inaccurate. So, I am still keeping my fingers crossed.

As for the RFE, it was due to the incomplete medical record, which was caused by the designated physician for my daughter. The physician simply forgot to check-mark one box, and therefore it triggered the FRE. I recommend everyone to double check the record and filled information by looking through the copies provided to you by the physician.
