I-485 approved twice

Hi, my I-485(my wife's too) approved on 12/28/2004 and we applied for physical card subsequently we got physical card on first week of Feb'2005. Today We(both myself and my wife) received another set of approval notices saying that our I-485s approved on May 12.It doesn't make sense. I called INS, rep said, if you have your green card ignore this latest approval. I believe this may create some problems when I go out of the country, because on return they may notice approval dates are not matching from official records. What the hack I need to do. I just want any comment from you guys who are in the same situation..

Dont worry

dont worry about it. a lot of people are getting the double mails...dont think it should be a problem..

Few days back I read an article at murthy.com which talks about this issue. It seems some people who were approved in Dec-Jan didn't receive their approval notices and USCIS has now decided to send approval notices again to all who were approved during that time. So it was suggested to ignore those mails if you already received one during that time.

So be cooooooooooooooool and don't worry about that second approval
