Transferred to local office at Jacksonville, FL 01/07/2004

Approved on 05/20/2004.

Local office mailed my approval notice to my old address which I have changed since last one year and have notified at least 3 times about it.

Finally got the copy from Attorney.

Question : since Infopass doesn't allow to schedule more than one appointment per telephone number. Is one appointment ok for whole family ( myself, wife and daughter ).

Trust me Guys, I am very thankful to this site and the contributor who guided us thru the whole process.

I am sure the season player at this site are more knowledgeable than few Attorneys.

local office transfer

congrats on your case approval.
my 485(RD 05/15/2001) case was also transferred to jacksonville local office in jan 2004. my lawyer received the transfer notice with the date from texas INS.I contacted the local office recently and they said they entered my record into their system(at local office) around may 10th after receiving my file.They also told me that it would atleast take 5-6 months for them to schedule an interview for me.
did you have to followup with them frequently after your case was transferred?
Also, It would be helpful if you could share your interview exp.

When the processing date of Jacksonville office got changed. I called the 800 number on 5/10 and requested the inquiry on my case. Customer rep. took my details and forwarded to the officer working on my case in Jacksonville office.

Later on , I visited Jacksonville office on 5/17 to find out the status. As per IIO, Officer was looking for the availability date to conduct the interview.

But to my surprise, instead of sending the date of interview. He approved my case on 5/20.

In summary, my file was there in Jacksonville office from 1/7 thru 5/20.

I will be visiting the office on 6/8 for PP stamping.
