Hi all ,

Till date , I've been receiving USCIS notices just fine. All the EAD's , AP's, fingerprint/biometrics notices etc. have been mailed and received successfully by me . Unfortunately , even tho' the I-485 was approved over 2 months ago , I still haven't received my approval notice .

After waiting of the 1st 30 days , I called up INS and had them send it out again but sure enough , it still hasn't arrived in the mail . It has been more than 30 days now .

What are my options ? Esp. since am sure they are just going to say this document cannot be sent via courier ,etc. but currently I have no way of knowing if USCIS has truly sent the approval notice or not !
My lawyers are farely clueless and I thinbk they have been good but thats only as far as the "documented" process is concerned ... I don't think they know what to do in this case .

The corres. EAD/AP has been denied understandably so clearly , USCIS acknowedges that my I-485 is approved but am now getting concerned about going out of state .

Any ideas ?

Your Lawyer should have received the original approval notice and you the courtesy copy. What does your lawyer say? Has he not received anything at all? I would be very surprised if both copies were lost in mail.

Apparently , my lawyers haven't received any approval notice . When I told them that since I haven't received my copy , am going to ask USCIS to resend me my copy , they said that was the right thing to do .

So, is it the process that my lawyers ALWAYS get the I-485 approval notice ? Is there any condition under which they won't get the notice and I will/should ?
Further , if they find the notice , can I use this notice itself , instead of the one that USCIS has claimed , they've mailed to me ?

Thanks.
