I-485 Approved, but didn\'t receive daughter\'s approval notice.

Hi,

        I-485 was approved on Jul\'30.
        Here are my details EB2 India, RIR,
        PD --JUl\'99
        FP --Dec\'2000
        AP-- 30-Jul-01.
        RD (I-485) ) 01\'Sep\'2000
        ND (I-485) 25\'Sep\'2000.

        I am a passive user of this site and used to visit this site sometimes. My I -485 was approved on Jul\'30 along with my wife. I received courtesy copy of approval for my wife and me, but not for my daughter(she is 4 years old). I was waiting to recieve approval for my daughter, thinking it probably got missed. I checked with my lawer, she said, she received original notice for me and my wife only and not for my daughter. She contacted INS Vermont, since she wasn\'t the lawer at the time of filing, the resopnse was not that prompt, they said it was approved, but approval notice wasn\'t generated for my daughter and may take some more time. I am not sure how far this is true also.

My quesion is how can this happen?.
Can I go for stamping without her approval notice? Is it good to wait for her notice also.
Can they do stamping for her also without apporval notice?.

Any suggestion is appreciated.

Congratulations.

I do remember a discussion on this site where some one had gone for stamping without an approval notice for the kid. You should try. Local INS offices do have a way to check the status of your daughters application.
