FP location was Oakland.

the stamping process took 1 hour in sfo ....

now the wait for the actual green card begins, but I\'m happy :-)

Hello Sam_485,

Congratulations on the approval, I am sure your friend must have been terrified during the application process and before the interview. I am in a similar boat (am either expecting a RFE or an interview), so I would request you to please share the details if possible.

Things like what was the category, center, PD, RD, ND, FP, date the interview letter was received and date and place that the interview was held.

Did your friend take a lawyer - if so, what were the other documents etc. What was the interview like ? I believe there is a clause 212(a) which would allow a person to adjust status under these circumstances. Did the officer or the attorney elaborate on that?

Please share the deatils, I gather there are several other people on this board who can benefit from your experience.
