I-485 approval without FP

One of my friend got I-485 approval without FP notice.

His info:
I-140/I-485/EAD ND 9/22/2003
I-140 AD - 5/26/2004
I-485 AD - 7/21/2004
EB3
 
It is a mistake

they may have to give finger prints when they visit local office. Nothing should happen without security clearance, if there is one.
 
Would you mind finding out the following info from your friend.

1) Any RFE on 140?
2) Was his/her 485 application ever transferred to local office?
3) State LC applied from?
4) Category?
5) IT or non-IT field?

Did he get a approval notice or did only the status change in uscis site?

If only the status changed, then he better wait before celebrating. Because for one person in this forum the status changed back to "still processing...365 - 480 days etc..".

But on the other hand I remember there was another appproval posted here without FP ... with ND in early 2003.

No RFE on I-140
No I-485 was never transfered to local office

Lucky dawg! What else can we say. Keep us posted.

Wasn't that other case a hoax, never heard back from him.
 
Yes, the other guy was "Sandalwood Smuggler Veerappan", who gave the statement and disappeared in the forests(probably Red Wood Forests in CA)..

nice to see aprovals without FP...get straight GC no hassels..
