I-485 approval, PD not current

I got my I-485 approved. I got one email from USCIS saying that my card production was ordered and another email welcoming me as a permanent resident.

I saw an article on the Murthy web-site which said that some people got
I-485 approval by mistake. My case looks somewhat suspect to me.

My priority date is August 21, 2005. The date set by DOS in June was April
1, 2004. In July they made the dates current and then unavailable saying
that all the visa numbers got used up in June. My case couldn't have been
processed in June because my date was not current. And not in July (though
the dates were made current later) because according to USCIS all the
numbers were used up.

Also in August the numbers are unavailable and in September it is again
April 1, 2004.

Has this happened to anyone before?

Hi - did you get confirmation from USCIS or from the Lawyer that it is indeed proper approval. Your response is very much appreciated to know what you decided. Please let me know.
