I-485 Approval at VSC

Hi:
I would like to know how long is it going to take to get the I-485 approval at the VSC. My details are as follows:

PD: 12/6/96 (Yes this is not a typo, my PD is 1996, thanks to the New Jersey Labor Dept.)
RD: 8/20/00
ND: 9/20/00
FP notice: 12/5/00 ( to be completed)

Once the FP is completed, how long will it take to have the I-485 approval
Any info please post

actually you are lucky, you may end up getting GC in 3-4 months. But again they may resort to RD for approval. Then you are stuck for 18 months

I envy you guys. You have crossed the FP stage, it is just a matter of time ( months). The good news (I am being sarcastic) for me is that VSC is going to wait for all dates to be current, process all PDs . With the mountains of cases files last Aug thru Oct, it looks miserable. Try working with a body shopping consulting company on top of that.

it is usually 3 months. If you did not get a RFE (request for evidence), you will get the approval notice by mail.

I don;t think so .. the approvals go with PD then ND ... they are currently processing 8/15/99 cases ... I think add 18 months to the ND and that will give you a fair estimate.
