I-485 Applications

Hi All

According to BCIS # of people applied for AOS (I-485) between Jan 2002 and Jan 2003 is only 56,275.

Check immigration-law.com for details.

So the time frame to adjudge I-485 application might reduce in near future as they are already processing Oct-Nov 2001 cases.

Any comments.

I don't think so. Those 56,275 are: "Major volumes in January 2003 receipts".
What is more important is this: 1,078,956 I-485 permanent resident adjustment pending cases as of January 2003!

Thanks for correcting me. You are right they over one million AOS apps pending and increasing every day.

But we should be optimistic and hope for early approvals.

btw my RD is feb 2002 and ND is March 2002. I have long way to go.
