I-485 Application Status

My I-140 and I-485 filed together on January 30, 2004. I-140 fee is withdrawn from my bank account on Feb 5, 2004. I received I-140 receipt from my attorney. But still I-485 I-765 and I-131 fee are not withdrawn from my account. Is it too early check the application status with INS?. How to get my application status. Your guidence is appriciated.

I think INS is taking long time to give the receipt numbers for I-485, EAD and AP. coz, one of friend applied Jan 2 nd week some time, still he is waiting for the receipts.

Don't worry be patient. you will get with in a days.........
 
Concurrent Filing

How long or should I wait after applying for I-485 & I-140
before leaving the country. I have a Valid H1B to travel.

Please Advice

There is no time limit to wait after applying I-485. If you have H1 b and it is valid (if not use EAD) then you can travel.
While traveling, Better to take employer letter and pay slips with you.
 
140 receipt

Any idea how long it takes for 140 receipt from NSC??
and we can file 485/EAD/AP after 140 receipt right ?? please any reply appreciated.

Just my experience

Concurrent filining for I140/I485/EAD/AP : 03/01/2004
Received Notice For I140 only :03/15/2004
Receieved rest of the application back from INS :03/17/2004
Reason : In mailroom applications got seperated and they could not find I 140 with rest of the applications
Sent rest of the applications again : 03/19/2004
Awaiting for the receipts........

Good luck for rest of us who are awaiting for receipts....
