I-485 and Traveling

We have valid H4 & H1 documents (Form I-797 with I-94 attached). We don\'t have valid H4 & H1 visa stamps on our passports. We recently applied for I-485 (Adjustment of Status) and got Advance Parole approval documents. My wife would like to travel out of country for a short period. My questions are:

Is it required to get it stamped in our passports?
Do we need to use our H? Visa or do we need to use Advance Parole for re entering?

If we are not planning to leave the county till the Green Card is approved, is it required to send to St. Louise to get it stamped in our passports?

Thanks for your help in advance!

U can Travel on AP

Hi,
U can travel only on AP in such a situation but u cannot use I-797 form for reentring.i remember it is clearly written somewhere in the I-797 form. i was in the same situation and got my passport stamped from st.louis. but some times it takes 2-3 months for this process as it got for mine.
But i am damn sure that u can go on AP, as one of my friends travelled and returned back on AP without a H4 stamping in the passport
