I am on H-1 and had filed I-485 some 3 years ago. Recently I applied for a term life insurance. They asked me for a proof of permanant resident status and I have sent them I-485 with the explaination note of this being the last step in process and about to get my green card.
But they have promptly rejected my application.
Any one else having such experience and how to deal with this?
