I-485 and EAD issues Dependant H4 status

My friend is currently working on EAD and awating for I-485 APPROVAL.. HE DIDNOT file I-485 for his spouse.. But she's got Valid H4 with the Proper Stamping till Nov 2009..He quit his previous job(on April 2008) and joined with another company and used EAD..Now he would like to bring back my wife to US again..

His Questions are as follows :

1)Can she enter US without any issues at the port of entry since she's got a stamping with H4?

2)If I were to file I-485 for his wife today , what should I do?

3)Assuming if all of the above conditions failed and as a last option, I apply visitors visa for my spouse and bring her to U.S. During her stay, If I get my prioriy date current, Can I apply I-485 for my wife at that time?

P.S. My Priority Date is not Current yet.

Technically since he is using EAD, is an applicant waiting for adjustment (parolee), i am not quite sure if this means you have abandoned h1b status which in turn allows your dependents h4 status, but again i heard you could switch back to h1b from adjustment (I-485) status. Any experts comment further or you contact an attorney. You cannot file I-485 for your wife if dates are not current for country of chargeability. Look at current Jan 2009 visa bulletin and figure out

is there a way I can check about the validity of my h1 per se whether that's been revoked or not..because I cannot go back and ask my previous employer. would appreciate..Thx
