I recently got married and would like my wife to be added to the I-485 and get her EAD and travel permit. She is presently on h-4. I filed my I-485 a month back. Can somebody suggest me what are the documents and forms I will have to fill and submit. Is there a list I can go through or any suggestions.

I -485 and EAD for Wife.

You will need to file I-765 (Employment authorization Document) and I-131 (Advance Parole). Both of these forms are available on net at BCIS site. They are very easy to fill and simple one page forms. You will need to attach following documents
1. Your I-485 Receipt
2. Two INS conforming Photographs
3. attach a copy of Driver's license / Passport/Visa as well (I have heard some people getting RFEs asking for some govt issued ID)
4. Fees Check
5. Your I-94 and her I-94 card copy (front and back)
I did it myself and had absolutely no problems
Give about 2-3 months for AP and 4-6 months for EAD to be approved. You may get earlier

I am not sure about how to add her name to I-485. You may want to talk to your lawyer for that.
