I am Kmol, my I-140 was approved on June 30th, and My I-485 was opened on the same date. INS sent me a notice about my I-485 on June and was not delivered to my address because we were moved and the address change which I gave them was not updated. I faxed our change of address together with my family. (nothing has happened) in my fax I requested them to re-send the letter.
My family's I-485 is not yet opened. I fax to INS with the details and I rcv a letter for my son, saying they look into the matter and will notify me shortly. I am waiting.
Now is it possible to go to NY DMV to change our address, if we go will they ask for any legal documents. What we have is only my I-140 approval notice, nothing about my I-485 or nothing for my husband. I am a 245 (i) applicant. Anybody has any experience as mine. Pls post. Also your experience with the I-485 for the family. Thank you
