I know that a same person as a primary cannot apply for I-485 and CP at the same time. But right now there is a I-485 process being myself as a primary and my husband as dependent and Consular processing being my husband as a primary and myself as dependent are going on. Is this okay? My husband will be receiving packet3 from his attorney next week. Is it okay for us to go ahead with CP and also the I-485. How will it affect the future processes? If we get an interview from the indian consulate for the CP should we pull out the 485 process or can we pull it after we receive the visa stamping and entering USA? If we do both will it mess up everything and end up with nothing? Your help is highly appreciated. I could not find any help regarding this in any immigration websites.
