I-485 and Annulment

Hi Guyz,

I along with my wife applied for I-485 on 08/03/07 and got the receipts recently. I havent gotten any request for finger printing yet. Unfortunately we are finalizing our annulment soon and she already went back to india recently and we are over with our marriage.

Rest behind, can you please let me know how to proceed further now. I meant, In case if I get an appointment for both of us for finger printing, what reason should I tell them for her not showing up. Because annulment is yet to be done, I dont have necessary proof to tell them.

Further, How can I request to stop her application and when should I do that.

I really appreciate your response.

Note: Mine is Employment based and she is dependent.

Regards
Sam

Your wife is the Gold digger who used you to come to USA. Kick her out :D

tell USCIS that she married you for green card and tried to con you

What a ridiculous thing to say. Sam, you probably should talk to an attorney about this, to make sure there are no problems along the road.

If your wife do not show up for her fingerprinting appointment or any other appointment set by the UCIS, her application will be automatically denied. Nobody is going to ask you why you have not brought her along with you unless you want her application to get approved as well. If you want to talk to a lawyer that is fine but if your case is a simple case without any other quirks, then probably you would not need an attorney at all.
Sincerely,
MGM
