I-485 after asylum and medical info

Obtained political asylum in 1999. Filed to adjust in 2000 with all needed info. Was asked to go for fingerprints 4 months ago. Now, HS asks me to provide new medical info + vaccination proofs. Is that normal? Is it because the info has been getting old because of the backlog?Thanks for your comments.FG
