Why are you wasting your time waiting for your GC? Enlist the assistance of your Senator\'s office. This is a standard service offered by your Senator. Look up the contact information at www.senate.gov and talk to them. They\'ll tell you what they need from you to contact INS.

They generally get pretty good results or at lesat get the ball rolling again.

Question for HVN

HVN

Which senator we should contact State or US for my state.

My RD is ND is oct 99 and my FP got rejected. It was done in March of 2001. Since then I have been waiting for redo notice. My amend I140 (company name chnage) also got approved on 28th of August 2001.

Pls. advice if I should do anything else also.

As per the lawyer, one of my friend\'s case case is not assigned to an officier and is on hold due to the fact that the amended I-140 was applied. Case details are:
PD - May 96
I-485 RD - 7/99
I-485 ND - 8/99
I-485 RFE #1 - 12/00
I-485 case on hold from 12/00 through 7/01 due to company name change.
I-140 amendment - 05/01
I-485 RFE #2 - 07/01
I-485 RFE responded - 08/01
Case Status - Not assigned, and on-hold due to amended I-140.

God help the INS!!!
