I-485 2nd interview: do I need to take a new medican exam?

I really appreciate it if anyone who can help me with this question.
I had my medical exam done Sept. 2004 for my 1st I-485 interview in October 2004 in NY District office. And now I have to go for the 2nd I-485 interview in 2 weeks. Do I still need to get a new medical exam done? I understand some source says that medical exam has to be retaken after 1 year.
 
It suppose that is valid for 12 months, but there are some cases that they don't ask for it even the interview is over the 12 months or probably because nobody say something about it. If you think that you should take another one, just in case you can do it. That is my personal opinion.

I would carry it. In my case I had a fresh medical since my case was 15 months old(at the time of interview) since the first application. However when I offered it to the officer at the time of the interview he said it was not needed.

I would however keep it ready just in case....you dont want to have to wait some more after the interview to submit papers etc....why invite any delays....

as i know. u dont need anymore medical. coz i submitted my medical in august2004, during my first intervew for I-485. and i had my second interview day before yesterday means on 2nov. i had the same question about medical but my lawyer said u r ok u already gave them last year so immigration people can extend that medical. it is not like medical is valid for 2 months. i went to the interview and tehy didnt ask me for the medical. best of luck for the nterview.
 
ouch....I didn't read that it was the SECOND I-485 interview....I just thought that this was the first....sorry.....
 
Got the second medical exam

Thank you for all the inputs. I really appreciate it. I called National Service center first and a representative insisted that I had to have the new medical exam done since the old one is expired after 12 months. So I went to take a new medical exam today. I have to pay for all the inefficiency caused by immigration people.
