my wife is a usc and we filed for i-485 & i-131 on Feb. 2005.
Our case was transfered after initial completion to Baltimore office August of 2005 to schedule interview. Baltimore Office in their current processing cases shows that they are working on cases filed May 2005. This means they are past our case and i'm starting to wonder if they lost the files or something..
i've written to them, called 1800 customer service line and they opened an investigation two months ago but haven't heard anything yet. I wrote to baltimore office and our senator [or should i say my wife's senator] and both letters went to the blackhole. haven't heard a thing.
can anybody give me some ideas on what i should do? [i'm thinking about suing them...but not sure if I have the right to do that and am clueless about the process...]
