I-20: Unfunded PhD or MA (in English)?

Can anybody please suggest me which I-20 can be accepted for the visa interview? Unfunded PhD program or unfunded MA program? I got admission in both MA and PhD program in the English department. but now I really confused which offer should I accept. On one side, MA program is of 2 year duration, so I need to show lesser money in visa interview than phd program (which is of minimum 4 year duration). On the other hand, unfunded phd students can get more preference from the faculties than unfunded masters student, so there are chances of getting TA-ships. Kindly help me suggesting which I-20 will be easier and better for visa interview purpose to get it approved..

The MS visa is valid for 2 years only the PhD is 5 years i think

It depends on what you want to do with your degree

I'd go for the PhD. the MS in english have very limited options in terms of future jobs
