I-148 pending, but got married to a US citizen?

I am here in the states on a working visa. I just recently got my I-140 approved but my I-148 is pending and my lawyer said it will take a while for it to get approved (a year). I got married a month ago to a US citizen? My wife might need to relocate a couple a month from now to a different state and I won't be able to relocate until I get my permenant status. Should I keep my application the way it is now or should I do something in regards to my marriage that might maybe speed up the process? Any advice?
 
Well it really depends on whether your lawyer is correct or not. Can I ask:

1- How long ago did you apply for I-485 (month/year)
2- Under what EB category
3- Are you from A) India or China, or B) not India or China

If your I-485 really will take that long, then your other option is to file a family based petition (I-130) along with a new I-485 but that might also take a few months. So again, it depends on the 3 questions above.
