Hi
I have couple of questions on filing I-140 .

1.What if the dependants on the I-140 had to travel during I-140
will there be any issues..? (without I-485 concurrent filing)
2. what if I need to add someone after i have filed My I-140 application (As we are expecting a new member who needs to be added to I-140).
3. will there be any issues if we have kids(In India) during the GC process who needs to be added at a later stage (I-140 , I-485 etc)

I have my current LC pending right now may be approved by May/Jun and we are expecting a new member in the family by Sep.Is it a good idea to stop/hold off of filing I-140/I-485 before the new member arrival or it is OK to add new members to I-140/I-485

Thanks in advance

1) Filing I-140 has no impact on yours or dependent's travel, as long as you/they have a valid visa to return to US.

2) You can file an amendment to I-140 if you need to add a child/spouse. If you child is born in US, he/she is automatically a US citizen and does not need to be included in any GC process.
You can also add spouse/child after I-140 is approved, but before 485 is applied for.

3) See answer (2)
