Hi, everyone,

Just want to know if anybody got similar notice from USCIS.

"We transferred this I140 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR ALIEN WORKER to our NEW YORK, NY location for processing because they now have jurisdiction over the case. We sent you a notice of this transfer. Please follow any instructions on this notice."

LC was approved in 2006, I-140 was filed in Nebraska center in 2006, in november of 2007 received request for additional evidence, they got it in December. Three months later, in March of 2008, we got this transfer notice. Wondering what could that mean.

Any opinion will be appreciated.

I have a similar situation.I applied in Mar 2007 and was at TSC.Few months later, it got transfered to NSC.In Feb 2008, it got transfred to Des Moines, IA.Few months back my employer personally went to the local service center to enquire about the case (Yes you can schedule an appointment at the local service center).Des Moines local center said the case has not even come to the local service center. The lady internally enquired and found out that the case was still at TSC and not gone any where. The transfer letter were meaningless. It is basically a wait and watch game.Hope this helps.
