I am filing I140 on Labor Substitution, I would like to know, does it take longer then normal processing, approx how long does it take to get I-140 approved in substitution case.

me too in same boat..... @VSC

me too filed 140@VSC with someone else already approved labor from same company.
wanna know if any complications foreseen, basically how different will
it be from normal processing?
Lawyer does say, no problems anticipated, should be as normal.

someone with personal experience on above, pls guide...
Any help will be highly appreciated.
Thanks.

how much time it takes to labor substitution approval

How does the labor substitution works? Is it unused labor of x employee, can be used for employee who posses similar job and skill set of the same company? Is any application has to be filed with DOL to transfer on your name. If so, how much time it takes get it approved. What is a chance of rejection?

No Title

sri_siri, Yes its unused approved LC which can be used for substitution, but the condition is that, the date on which the LC was filed for ex-employee, your educational Qual., skill set and experience should be the same or more on that date. There is some application required to be filled for that your Lawyer will complete that paper work, and its filed along with I-140, which means both the cases will work at the same time. Regarding the time frame I don\'t know.
